Data We Collect
The place you choose
- How: The city you search for, coordinates you type yourself, or your current location when you press Use my location.
- Why: To calculate prayer times for that point and show the right clock.
- Where stored: Locally in Chrome storage on your device.
Text you type in the city search
- How: The place name is sent to Open-Meteo's public geocoding service while you type, and the coordinates from Use my location are sent to Open-Meteo for the time zone and to BigDataCloud for the city name.
- Why: To turn a name or a point into coordinates and a time zone, because the extension needs both to calculate times.
- Where stored: Not stored by us anywhere. Only the resulting city, with its coordinates and time zone, is saved on your device.
Your settings and prayer marks
- What: Calculation method, Asr school, high latitude rule, minute offsets, which prayers have reminders, the adhan choice and volume, clock and display preferences, and the prayers you mark as prayed, kept for the last seven days.
- Why: To run the extension the way you set it up.
- Where stored: Locally in Chrome storage on your device.

The extension has no content scripts. It cannot read or change any website.
The Adhan
Three recordings ship inside the extension: the opening twenty seconds of the call, the full call, and the Fajr call. They are bundled files, downloaded from nowhere at runtime, and you can turn the adhan off or set its volume in the settings.
Children
The extension is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
